Night Out for Jen's Birthday!![]()

The birthday girl and her deadly green drink :)
It was the day before Jen left for a brief visit home, and she spent the night partying
with us. We loved it!! And then we drank... it was a delicious day!

Katie and Missy - cuties!

The boys!

Kristine and Emily!

The birthday girl with Alishya - what a great party!!
Alishya's Trip to Chicago![]()

The Hancock Building - 2nd tallest in Chicago (98 floors)
The day after the girls got back from Italy, Alishya went to Chicago for a brief visit to
say hi, bring back kilos and kilos of luggage and to eat like she's never eaten before. It
was a great trip and I had lots and lots of fun!

Fogo de Chao - the MOST food you will EVER eat in your life at one sitting. This
restaurant was RIDICULOUS and I nearly swore off meat after it was over. I mean seriously,
all the meat you can eat? Gross!! But it was just SO GOOD that it was disgusting.
MMMMMmmmmmmmm!!

One of the main reasons I went home was to wish my grandmother (center) a Happy 85th
birthday. She had a huge bash and her two sisters, Dorothy and Ruth, came and lightened up
the bash. Dorothy gave my grandma some tissue for her birthday saying that all elderly
women need tissue. Hmmmmm.

That's my dad, doing something in the fridge... isn't he a handsome man? :)

Me and my mother having way too much fun!!

Lisa and Alishya
Lisa's the best - she always wants food, food and more food. So we ran off to Chinatown
and ate LOTS of food, including some things I would rather not remember (chicken feet,
tripe, etc.). But it was super fun and super filling!

Dad with the infamous chicken feet. Gross!! He seemed to like them though. Ick!

Greenie, Lisa and Alishya
Greenie was the best and gave me a bunch of rides in his new Jaguar. Of course, that was
after we walked by a store that was skinning frogs and he thought it necessary to watch
for a while. Gross.

Louie and my mom in Chinatown... Lisa had to run into the candy shop for a brief taste
test so they stayed outisde and gossiped... hehe

My last night out was with Patrycja and Kielnik (see here) to our traditional restaurant -
the Star of Siam. I LOVE their food, and we ate and ate until we couldn't move. Kind of
seems like my entire trip was like this!
Back in London![]()

Katie, Emily and Mercedee (with Missy's arm and chopsticks)
Mercedee's last day in London and we all went to Wagamama's for some final curry chicken
and those yummy gyoza. Mmmmmmm!!

Alishya and Missy on the other side of the table.
We'll miss you Mercedee!!

Our day at the Courtauld was wonderful... we thought of our professor Jill as we walked
along the cobblestoned courtyard.

Cobblestones of the Courtauld

My all-time favorite Impressionist painting was in the Courtauld and since I hadn't been
prepared for it, I had successive liminal moments while gazing upon it. My faovrite!! I
had also remade this work for a previous art class and I was so excited to finally see it
rerecreation)

Lunch at the Texas Embassy with some YUMMY chimichangas! Mmmmmm

Trafalgar Square

The traditional 'Do Not Feed the Pigeons' sign while mere meters away, an old woman dumps
loaves of bread for the flying rats. So much for those signs!

There's major construction going on around Trafalgar Square and here are the stones before
mortaring

My girls, Sara and Missy, ran off to a luau one day and got all dressed up - They were so
cute!

Blending in with the theme!
