JULY 4th - INDEPENDENCE DAY
It was the Fourth of July and we were all stuck in a country that didn't celebrate with
hot dogs and sparklers which was quite odd, I must say. So, we had a picnic where we all
lounged for a little while and said Happy Independence Day to a country far, far away.
**WARNING** Mercedee made it into ALL my picnic pictures! Funny how that happens...

Picnic!!
Phillip, Emily, Keith, Katie, Alishya, Mercedee, Missy and Will

Mercedee and Alishya being quite smiley!

Emily, Mercedee and Keith... probably laughing at the fact that Mercedee had run from
picture to picture just so she could infiltrate the photo supply :)

The best part of this picture is me in the corner looking extremely uncomfortable about
something... hehe
But alas, Mercedee again

Mercedee and her brother Phillip. He was so incredibly tall and we loved it!!

The girls!!

Will and Phillip happy to be in London!
LONDON SCENE SHOTS

There I was, sitting in Covent Garden eating a waffle with chocolate sauce and as I
surveyed the room, there went a woman dressed as a nun (sort of) with a naked blow-up
doll. Yup, you gotta love London!

Hal and Mike came to visit me in London for one day and we plowed off to Wagamama's and
Cafe Pasta... nothing like sightseeing from restaurant to restaurant!

Changing of the guard... a long and interesting procedure!

Missy and her friend Tom who loved cheesy TV (images of the young superman show comes to
mind) and could talk with an amazing American accent!!

So what if we're out of focus? No one will ever notice!

Keith, under the 'Cockpit Steps' with my red umbrella... Hehehe
UP FOR GRABS Starring MADONNA!!

The night of July 4th and I had won one ticket to see Madonna in her play, Up for Grabs. I
got all snazzed up with Missy's help on the makeup and I plowed off to the theatre. It was
the most amazing 2 hours I have ever had, particularly since I'm obsessed with anything
Madonna does. I clapped and cheered and have never been so attentive in all my life and I
LOVED IT!! Keith, however, thought I was a bit 'tall'
:)

Fourth of July and everyone's patriotic!

That's my girl!!

Take a Bow!!

Madonna escaping in a black Mercedees after the play!
PARTY IN THE PARK
On the 7th of July, Capital radio put together a HUGE concert which included Shakira,
Enrique Iglesias, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Blue, Westlife, Natalie Imbruglia, Mis-teeq, Will
Young, etc. etc. It was a 7 hour concert which was attended by 100,000 people (not
including the freeloaders who lounged in the park adjacent to the concert). I had a BLAST
and loved every minute of it!! Thank you Pooja for getting me tickets!

People everywhere!!
There were so many people that it took me almost 45 minutes to walk to the bathroom and
back when it should have taken 5 or less. Unreal amounts of people!!

Pooja, Sunita and Erika amidst an amazing display of picnic-ing.

Just waiting for those dratted singers to jump on stage!

Sophie Ellis Bextor and Enrique were absolutely awesome!

Will Young sang Light My Fire and all the 12-year olds screamed away. Shakira came on and
started shaking and most guys just stood there transfixed. It was an amazing concert!!
