Paris Scenes
Our first stop was, of course, le Tour Eiffel. We were just approaching it at sunset and
it was still as beautiful as I remember it.
And even though it was FREEZING, we still managed to smile with glee!
The gorgeous view from the Eiffel at sunset
The stunning Tower at night...
The next day we ran off to the Musee D'Orsay. Me and Mercedee chose to do a little soaking
in of Parisien air..
Isn't Mercedee all cute?? :)
Here are the girls at the museum plowing about and the fantastic clock which overlooks the
museum.
Too much sightseeing!!
After leaving the D'Orsay, we wandered by the Louvre where again, the sun was beautifully
setting.
The Louvre, despite being a fascinating museum which I will
never visit again, is a beautiful building surrounded by the niftiest of things. Notice
the cool reflection in the water...

We stopped for a brief moment by the Louvre and a little bird started chasing Katie... I
actually think we were being a little delirious from the cold, but I could have sworn it
was out to get her...
The arch that begins the Tuileries and is opposite the Louvre... we begin on the journey
to the Champs Elysees!
The Champs Elysees at night! By the time we had gone through the Tuileries, it was dark
and so we ran across the street and got this fantastic shot in between lights! :)
Mercedee and Alishya, looking stunning after hours and hours of walking about...
Katie and Missy having fun in Paris!!
Off the side of the Champs, there's the Chicago Pizza Pie Company. After we ate, I noticed
this sign on the opposite wall - my neighborhood!! I actually took the #8 bus to work
everyday in the summer so this was especially cool!!
Ultimately, it was Christmas, and Paris was a wonderful place to remind us of how
beautiful life can be, and how excellent it was that there was no essays in sight for a
few weeks! Thanks you guys for keeping me warm!

My all-time favorite picture of Katie showing her inner depths!
