India 2003
It was the end of October and three ladies were off to see the world. Nothing too fancy, nothing too schmancy - just something that would involve 18 hours on the plane, a 5 hour layover, 4 hours waiting and then 6 hours in the car. Aaah, the leisurely vacation begins.
Of course, Mercedee decided that a whole sleeping pill would be a good idea on the plane
and was hungover on much of journey to the distant and exotic lands of India. But we made
it in one piece, exceptionally jet-lagged, and began our 4-week journey with a stopover in
Pune. We staggered through our time there, getting facials and massages, and then we were
off again to Ahmednagar, home of the Pilgrim Center (that's us... the Pilgrims). And thus
our journey begins...
Pre-Trip
Photos of Mercedee & Alishya
So... Mercedee wanted to take some pre-trip shots which were done in the 5 miuntes before
we jumped in the car to head for the airport. I think we look rather relaxed for being on
the verge of going to the other side of the world. And cute, of course.
