Day 8 was the day we were leaving, and though we were ready, it was still a sad
moment. Both of us had some scheme or reason as to why we needed to stay, but
our journey had come to its inevitable end. We did quick shopping in Liberia
(the capital of Guanacaste) and plowed off through airport security and
departure taxes to come back to cold Chicago.

This was some park we plowed through looking for souvenir stores...

The first Costa Rican church I saw... and an example of some of the odd
architecture we came across.

We spotted a man on the road selling coconuts which I've never tried, so
we gave him $1 and he cut a hole in a coconut and stuck a straw inside.
Costa Rican Jamba Juice?

Our plane :)

I always love the plane shots... gives you something useful to do while
you're sitting in there.

Thank you Costa Rica for such a wonderful vacation. We
loved every minute of it!
